Sales/Service Team Manager

Job Description

Midwest Basement Systems, a part of the Thrasher family of companies, is a family owned business specializing in basement waterproofing, foundation repair, and concrete leveling, seeking a purpose driven Sales/Service Manager to help us redefine our industry. The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing our team of Service Technicians who meet with homeowners on pre-scheduled appointments. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience managing a sales team and mechanical aptitude.



1) Lead, Manage, Accountability (LMA)

  • Leads by example by living out the Thrasher purpose, mission, and values
  • Rewards and recognizes excellent work / disciplines when necessary
  • Delivers on Annual Commitments

2) Sales Training

  • Develop and implements sales trainings in both classroom and field situations that will increase sales performances
  • Hits or exceeds Quality Assurance Commitments
  • Communicates learning opportunities to various department, including Service, Sales, and Production
  • Helps develop and implements new hire trainings and onboarding.
  • Responsible for all system trainings including, but not limited to SolutionView, i360, expense reporting and other internal systems

3) Drive Revenue

  • Formulates and implements strategies to have each Service Technician meet or exceed projected Average Dollar Per Lead every month
  • Prepare and deliver performance and/or development discussions with Service Technicians

4) Cross-Functional Teams

  • Ensures production is set up for success
  • Develops and holds team accountable to cross sell other service types outside of business unit
  • Work with other departments to maximize training opportunities within the organization

5) Customer Satisfaction

  • Coaches team and works to resolve all issues with customers, ensuring they experience extraordinary results.



  • Minimum five (5) years management experience and proven success in prior sales or customer service role.
  • Experience training and implementing sales systems and programs.
  • Proven ability to motivate, guide, and direct the team to reach and exceed business goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills including spreadsheets, database, and word processing.
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
