Thrasher is seeking a detail oriented HR Coordinator to help us redefine our industry by constantly striving to surpass the status quo.   1. Coordinate the on boarding process including: offer letters, background checks, drug testing, other pre-employment requirements (i.e. Physicals, DOT Paperwork) and first day orientation.
  2. Handles the employee on boarding packets within Paycom along with all other system access (slack, email, i360, ELD, Supportworks Apps, etc.).
  3. Effectively communicate on boarding procedures, detail and status to candidates, recruiters, HR team, and hiring managers.
  4. Managing the off-boarding process for all employees.
  5. Manage our HRIS (Paycom) system (on-boarding/off-boarding and any other employee files).
  6. Perform other various responsibilities that relate to maintaining HRIS and employee files as assigned.
  7. Handles all employee verifications, I-9s, E-Verify, exit interviews, garnishments, etc.
  8. Anticipates, understands, and provides the tactical needs of the HR department while potentially assisting with all other HR functions as necessary.


  1. Knowledge of human resources principles and practices.  
  2. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
  3. Ability to understand and speak Spanish preferred.
  4. Skill in operating personal computer and programs such as spreadsheets, database, and word processing software.
  5. Skill in verbal and written communication.


  1. Associates or Bachelor's Degree in human resources preferred;
  2. 2+ years of experience in the human resources field; or,
  3. A combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
  4. A valid driver's license.
