Thrasher is seeking a purpose driven General Manager to help us redefine our industry by constantly challenging the status quo. The General Manager is responsible for developing key growth sales and production strategies, tactics, and action plans. This role will oversee an entire business unit of production and sales teams along with their managers. In addition, this person will impact strategic direction, management development, and continually drive performance.

  • Provide leadership to a business unit including Sales, Service & Production teams and managers (approximately 40-50 employees)
  • Leads, manages and acts as a mentor to direct reports by hiring, allocating work, orientation and training, setting performance expectations, evaluating performance outcomes, rewarding and recognizing excellent work, and recommending wage changes, promotions, or transfers. In addition, specifically grow and develop direct reports for potential future opportunities.
  • Create an environment that is conducive to teamwork and that delivers a high level of customer satisfaction, revenue growth and profitability.
  • Developing work-arounds for delays and other problems
  • Evaluates and researches different business opportunities, including potential new services, lead types, and pricing strategies.
  • Formulates strategies to influence business direction. Forecasts trends based on industry focus and general financial climate. Initiates and implements plans to stay ahead of competitors, enhance efficiencies within Thrasher, and increase revenues.
  • Make recommendations to leadership on product and service pricing strategy, annual sales goals, and customer satisfaction tools/measurements.
  • Collaborates to create extraordinary results through the direct sales, service and production teams but also cross functionally with other General Managers and support teams.


  • Must have prior consumer services leadership experience and background.
  • Must possess a high energy level and demonstrate the ability to lead and energize a team.
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize with an unwavering attention to detail.
  • Situational leadership style, the ability to manage in an ever changing environment.
  • Strong communicator, excellent people skills and motivator.
  • Bachelor's Degree in construction management, business, or related field preferred;
  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience; or,
  • A combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
