The Employment Services Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our supported employment program. This role supervises a team of job coaches and developers while ensuring the delivery of person-centered supported employment services for adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities in accordance with policies and procedures.
Daily tasks of the Employment Services Manager include: program development, writing and monitoring habilitation programs, attending Individual Support Plan meetings, staff supervision and training, scheduling, communicating with families and support teams, and marketing employment services to business and industry personnel to promote and establish diverse employment opportunities for program participants.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and supervisory skills, the ability to advocate for participants' best interests, as well as excellent critical thinking, analytical, and time management skills. They should also demonstrate a solid work history and prior experience working with adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities and have a clear understanding of supported and customized employment best practices.
This is a full-time position with benefits. The Employment Services Manager predominately works Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm; scheduled and unscheduled evening and weekend hours may be required at times.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field such as sociology, psychology, or social work (years of experience may be substituted for years of education).
- 3 years of experience in human service working with individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities.
- Personal vehicle required in addition to a current valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a good driving record.
