Solution Engineer – Job Description

The Solution Engineer will be the primary technical and functional expert on our Dynamics CRM, company intranet solution, and/or other system platforms. The Solution Engineer will focus on both strategy and tactical design and delivery of enhancements to our systems. They will build strong relationships with business partners, Product Owners, and delivery teams within IT to build and maintain high-quality and high-performing systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Configures and maintains sales and marketing solutions for business partners
  • Works with delivery teams within the technical organization to design, develop and deliver system enhancements for the business
  • Work with business analysts and end-users to identify requirements and testing approaches for work items
  • Ensures work items are delivered on time
  • Has a proactive awareness of systems or platform issues and changes; actively seeks out anticipated changes to the systems with a proactive effort in managing their impact on our systems
  • Participates in the deployment of system updates
  • Supports the dev-ops processes and solution delivery process within tech; proactive participant in continuous improvement to our delivery process
  • Subject matter expert in our platform and systems through continuous research, prototyping, and proactive understanding of the platform lifecycle
  • Documents key processes for development and delivery of system updates
  • Works in conjunction with developers on integrated solutions for the business
  • Performs break-fix activities for systems
  • Follows incident management process to ensure timely resolution of support tickets
  • Follows change management process to make changes to the production environment in a safe and controlled manner
  • Partners with business users to understand business processes and how IT enables them
  • Primary point of contact with our system vendors
  • Manages tickets with vendor and ensures timely resolution of issues
  • Performs ongoing administration and maintenance of systems to keep them high performing and up to date
  • Maintains multiple environments and/or versions of our systems

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in: Business Administration, Mathematics, or IT
  • 3+ years' experience supporting sales and marketing systems
  • Experience working with sales and marketing teams and supporting processes 


  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, UltiPro
  • Experience in medical staffing industry
  • Experience with Power App; Flow, PowerApp
  • Experience with Typescript or JavaScript, PowerShell scripting, CSS and/or HTML
  • Experience defining and developing integrations using APIs
  • Nice to have skills are UM:/BPML, IDL/YAML, Basic C#/.Net programming skills
