National Account Executive - MSP Job Description

The National Account Executive’s purpose is to create and support (in conjunction with Sales) positive relationships with healthcare entities across the country through exclusive supplemental staffing contracts, referred to as a Managed Service Provider Agreement.   The NAE is responsible for coordination of overall program management, under direction of the Vice President.  This position is considered “exempt”.  If overtime hours are worked, there is not additional pay for overtime.

Essential Functions:

  • Directly maintain MSP client relationship and/or support sales in their effort to: increase utilization of services, establish best practices, and support problem resolution.
  • Develop and present MSP offering to selected Medical Solutions’ clients as well as prospective non-contracted clients.
  • Contribute to and support a fast-paced Team environment. Provide leadership in order to achieve MSP division goals; foster a positive work environment that encourages open communication, mutual respect and the exchange of ideas.
  • Communicate strategic plan and progress-to-goals to leadership.

Job Qualifications:

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree OR 3-5 years of strong sales experience where 60% of compensation is commission-based.
  • Communicate, understand, and develop a relationship with various hospitals. Covering all areas of needs, contract, hospital requirements and billing.
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create solutions where policies/procedures may not exist.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Able to manage a large and increasing workload
  • Work closely with sales teams and management
  • The scope of responsibility for this position is sales and supervisory in nature, not clinical in nature.

 

Preferences:

  • Staffing Industry experience in MSP model
  • Travel Nursing experience
  • Medical field or terminology background
  • Sales background (commissions)
