Sales and Business Development Manager
The Sales and Business Development Manager is responsible for managing the sales efforts of our new Accredited Business sales team across our diverse service area. The SBD Manager will ensure consistent growth through effective hiring, training, coaching and management of the team.
Reports to: BBB Senior Vice President
Supervises: Regional Business Consultants
Full-Time Position, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
Hire and train new team members.
Ensure that the sales team master processes and procedures.
Provide coaching to sales team through daily monitoring of calls.
Provide effective communication with BBB businesses.
Delegate and manage the work for the department staff.
Run weekly meetings with staff and communicate frequently with the Senior Vice President.
Adhere to all BBB policies and procedures.
Distribute and track sales leads to team members.
Supply weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecast.
Provide excellent customer service for our internal and external customers.
Perform other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
Integrity and strong work ethic.
Experience building and running a successful inside sales team.
At least 5 years sales experience.
Prior management experience and demonstrated success, with willingness and ability to learn and innovate.
Strong people skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
Hardworking, persistent and dependable.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Bachelor’s degree, business and marketing majors preferred.
