Social media is a fast-paced, often changing world, we're looking for someone with the enthusiasm and digital savvy to represent our brand online.


Being a customer advocate is the primary responsibility of an ALLO social media specialist. This is a specialized role requiring a wide range of knowledge. ALLO social media specialists know how to handle questions and conversations with potential customers regarding ALLO services, prices, and equipment. During the construction phase, social media specialists are able to effectively communicate and empathize with concerns and issues that are reported. The ALLO social media team also provides tier one troubleshooting for current customers experiencing service issues. The social media team often works closely with a variety of teams and departments, you must be an effective communicator and a team player.


The social media team also monitors ALLO social platforms after hours on a scheduled rotation. In emergency situations (outages and network events), ALLO social media specialists are expected to login and work together until a resolution is confirmed by the ALLO network team.


  1. Customer support for new service, construction issues, and existing service
  2. Tier one troubleshooting
  3. Daily content creation across several social media platforms
  4. Social media contest management
  5. Working with TSS, CSR, collections, construction, etc. to follow up on customer inquiries
  6. Tracking all social complaints for compliance
  7. Making sure all social content is compliant 
  8. Social Ads, analysis & reporting to marketing group
  9. Training/scheduling/auditing after hours social media responses
  10. Reviewing marketing materials as needed
  11. Helping with PR Events as needed
  12. Pulling email lists for e-blast distribution
  13. Using Sales Force for customer CRM



High School Diploma

Some college preferred



  1. Customer service
  2. Customer service in telecom industry a plus
  3. Personal experience using social media sites: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+
  4. Professional experience representing a brand or company in a public/online forum via emails, website, or social media.



  1. Comfortable in public social forums, friendly demeanor, creative, intuitive.
  2. Typing accuracy and speed a must, advanced knowledge of spelling and grammar preferred.
  3. Advanced knowledge of social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Goolge+, LinkedIn, and YouTube a plus.
  4. Open to collaboration and ongoing feedback/brainstorming with a team.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft office software including Word and Excel.
  6. Proficient in Adobe Acrobat.
  7. Experience with video editing a plus.
  8. Detail oriented.
  9. Ability to communicate empathy online.
