Nelnet is looking for an experienced Corporate Communications Manager to lead the company's internal communications team. The internal communications manager will work with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organizations to develop and implement effective communication strategies and messages that meet corporate goals, including helping Nelnet live its core values, keeping associates informed, and strengthening associate engagement.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing
High level of verbal and written skill required; pays attention to details; relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; performs a variety of tasks; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Marketing or communications background preferred; must be able to handle high volume of projects; people leadership and decision making skills; excellent customer service skills; strong problem solving skills; ability to work independently or in a group.
