As Director of Operations Consumer Loans, you will be responsible for setting goals; building and implementing a comprehensive budget and plan to support the overall business profitability; and delivering results.  You will be expected to provide leadership governance including industry expertise and guidance to the processing and program support teams while helping set prioritizations for technology teams. You will find yourself working collaboratively and cross functionally to provide direction in the planning, development and implementation of strategies that are consistent with the company mission, vision and values.   


You will be responsible for ensuring that operations policies, procedures, processes and functions are efficient, compliant and meet organizational needs while you and your teams deliver high quality services through attracting and developing talented employees committed to achieving both strategic and tactical objectives.


  1. Innovation and improvement within operations that is measurable, both from reduction in risk as well as improvement in scale and quality.
  2. Implementation of thorough standardized training, onboarding and mentoring program.
  3. Development and attraction of talent to support change management and business strategy.



A Bachelor's degree (BA) and at least 7 years successful record in management.


Industry experience preferred

  6. Transparency:  Maintain and share Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards that help direct prioritization decisions.
  7. Business acumen with ability to drive definition of business objectives while positively impacting consumer loan strategies.
  8. Knowledgeable in industry regulations regarding consumer loan servicing.
  9. Competency in operational KPI's; well-honed communication and influencing skills.
  10. Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
    • Lean practitioner with demonstrated problem solving methodologies.
    • Previously responsible for a multi-site business line; understanding daily activities and the impact on financials.
