Overview

Work directly as a functioning member of multiple teams within Nelnet. As an intern, you will gain understanding of how a variety of business departments throughout Nelnet operate. These areas include:

 

  • Finance
  • Internal Audit
  • People Services
  • Nelnet Business Solutions Accounting
  • Marketing
  • Global Training
  • NBS Business Operations
  • NDS Business Operations
  • Training and Internal Communications
  • Vosaic
  • U-Fi
  • FUSE Co-Working 

 

Responsibilities

  1. Support department projects.
  2. Research new topics and develop department materials.
  3. Special projects or other duties as assigned.
  4. Attend company orientation and development classes as applicable.
  5. Meet and interact with Nelnet employees at a variety of levels.
  6. Participate in department team-building activities.
  7. Collaborate internally with employees and departments to accomplish work projects.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  1. Pursuing degree
  2. Major required in a field appropriate to the intern opening

 

EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of computers: preferably Microsoft packages and familiarity with Internet including ability to use search engines.
