Overview

NDS believes that customer service is strategically critical to the future of the sales, marketing and customer retention efforts of our organization.  Therefore, Client Services is positioned as the key, single touch point for many of our clients across multiple product lines, to consolidate support and provide a consistent, efficient solution to their needs.  This role is responsible for receiving incoming Client Services requests, creating new cases based off those requests, and distributing those cases to the appropriate team members.  A desire to interact with clients and provide outstanding customer service is vital.  The position would also serve as a backup for completing certain analyst level performance reports.

 

The successful candidate will possess the ability to recognize the different types of requests and accurately organize them into appropriate categories.  Functional knowledge of the different types of student loan servicing platforms and software systems will be necessary in this position.

Responsibilities

  2. Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement
  3. Execute timely communication in response to client calls, emails, or faxes. 
  4. Work with Client Services team to maintain goals
  5. Provide backup support for other team members within Client Services
  6. Ability to allocate time efficiently, focusing on ever-shifting priorities
  7. Use of good judgment and attention to detail

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Associate degree preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  1. 1 to 3 years of customer service experience and/or general office experience preferred.
  2. Knowledge of the student loan industry loan servicing systems preferred.

 

COMPETENCIES SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

  1. Strong oral and written skills
  2. Problem solving skills
  3. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  4. Detailed functional knowledge of MS Outlook and Dynamics CRM 4.0
