Overview

The Content Management Specialist is primarily responsible for answering incoming customer inquiries related to the proprietary Content Management Systems (CMS), which includes School Site (designed for schools) and Faithwebsites (designed for non-profit and faith-based organizations).

 

THIS POSITION CAN BE LOCATED IN OUR BURLESON, TX OFFICE OR OUR LINCOLN, NE OFFICE.

Responsibilities

  1. Answer questions and provide additional instructions and helpful resources for customers.
  2. Troubleshoot and determine where and why an error or issue is occurring.
  3. Provide solutions and alternate methods by creatively using CMS tools and resources.
  4. Provide training in written and/or webinar style formats.
  5. Provide support and troubleshooting via live assist (or possibly phone) in defined situations/circumstances.
  6. Follow up with customers to ensure that they were able to successfully build their content or resolve their issue.
  7. Assist with domains/domain management, email setup/Google Apps setup, and with 3rd party integrations when applicable.
  8. Research and provide commentary to our community forum (when assigned/applicable).
  9. Manage email communication and recording conversations in the support center.
  10. Work closely with other team members in Support, Sales and Implementation.
  11. Assist customers with taking new websites live.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Associate Degree in related field or equivalent experience.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  1. Broad experience with the Internet and technical in nature.
  2. Experience with web based applications (personal or professional experience).
  3. Experience with website content management systems (CMS) is beneficial.
  4. Experience in the following areas is a plus, but not required:
  • building or contributing on a website with content, images, code, etc.,
  • imaging/image editing,
  • WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or similar,
  • Blogging,
  • Managing or building social media,
  • Processing/managing audio files,
  • Processing/editing/managing video files (video on demand),
  • HTML or CSS skills, and/or
  • Moderating a message board or forum.
