Must have the ability to work towards continuous improvement of product quality and ISO 9001:2008 Systems
Works from drawings and specifications to construct dies, jigs and fixtures, and machined parts.
Use precision instruments for exacting measurements.
Plan, layout, and perform all bench and machine operations for tooling projects.
Set up and perform tasks on all tool room equipment, such as, mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
Set up and perform tasks on CNC mills and lathes.
Assemble and try out new dies, jigs and fixtures.
Check out and trouble shoot die performance as required.
Sharpen and repair in house dies and tooling as required.
Responsible for quality workmanship and dimensional accuracy.
Must be physically capable of handling heavy parts as required.
