Entry Level IT Helpdesk Support

Seldin Company is seeking an Entry Level IT Help Desk Support to be based out of ourCorporate office in Omaha, NE. https://www.seldin.com/

This position will pay up to $45,000 a year, the pay for this position will be determined by experience, certifications, skills and education.

Will work with candidates still in college, schedule will be full time 40 but if less hours desired to work with school schedule we can do full time 30 hours as well!

What You Will Do

The IT Help Desk Engineer has primary responsibility for overseeing that end-users receive the appropriate assistance with all levels of customer service. This includes the responsibility of managing all incoming emails and phone calls relating to IT identification, resolution, and setup.

Skills and Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience providing customer service on a technical level over the phone
• 1-2 years of experience with LAN/WAN network technologies (i.e., installing NIC cards and network client software, network printers)
• 1-2 years of experience with HyperV virtualization software
• 2-3 years of experience with hands-on technical PC support service experience, desktop and laptop hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and upgrades
• 2-3 years of experience with desktop operating systems and application software products
• 2-3 years of experience with Windows Server (Folder Redirection, Group Policy, Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DFS, etc.).
• Scripting abilities are a strong plus
