We are currently seeking applicants for our Personal Banker position.

As a Personal Banker, you will greet customers, develop client relationships and manage client portfolios identifying opportunities to grow your book of business, and identify sales opportunities and refer potential opportunities to business partners.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Open new accounts, which will include having extensive product knowledge and client interaction to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. (25%)
Provide consumer lending services, which will include understanding and adhering to lending requirements and regulations, understanding and adhering to all product guidelines and lending limits, maintaining loan files, and achieving established loan goals. (20%)
Cross sell products and services to current and prospective customers, refers potential business to appropriate business partners. (10%)
Performing collection activity on negative accounts. (5%)
Consistently provide the highest level of personalized service, maintaining a positive attitude at all times. (30%)
Other duties as assigned. (10%)
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Basic understanding and the ability to operate various office equipment such as: Typewriter, Printers, Computers, Phones, Fax, Adding machine, and Copy machine.
Interpersonal skills necessary to help coordinate department activities, including work assignments, and ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
Demonstrated customer service skills.
Demonstrated referral sales skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in banking, finance, accounting, or business required, or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft suite of products at a medium level of expertise.
Minimum of 2 years customer contact in a financial institution strongly preferred.
Ability to demonstrate previous successful sales experience.
Demonstrated ability to interpret basic financial information.
Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing personality.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
