Recovery Specialist II - On Call

A Recovery Specialist is a treatment team member who is responsible for providing care to meet the physical and psychological needs of residents through providing direct and indirect services in a manner consistent with Rehabilitation and Recovery principles.

High School diploma or G.E.D required. Demonstrated sensitivity to behavioral health issues and multi-cultural populations is required. (e.g.: exposure through family relationships, volunteering or other previous experience(s) or coursework.) Ability to assist with restraint of clients in the event of assaultive behavior. Ability to pass assault crisis/crisis prevention training.
 

Must be CPR, CPI and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment.

Previous experience with population to be served and/or work in a similar program setting preferred.
