OrthoNebraska is among the largest and most experienced orthopaedic and sports medicine practices in the region. We are currently looking for a registered nurse for our nursing department. This individual is responsible for assisting Physicians and Physician Assistants in providing care for our patient’s orthopaedic health conditions in a professional, confidential and caring manner.
This registered nurse will collect data and contribute to the assessment of the patient, document appropriately in the patient’s chart, retrieve messages and resolve calls from patients, pharmacies, hospitals, nursing homes, workers compensation managers and other medical offices. Accurate documentation and timely resolution of issues are key attributes. This registered nurse will assist Providers with all examinations and ensuring patient information is available for the Provider prior to start of clinic. Perform procedures as requested by provider, including: removing casts, stiches, staples, drains and dressing changes.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, hold current state license and be CPR certified.
Medical office experience helpful. Must possess strong organizational skills and have attention to detail. Be a team player and demonstrate great customer service in all interactions. Demonstrate excellent computer skills.
