We are seeking an experienced SQL Admin to join our team. Your role will maintain an incredible amount of data that we utilize in our software to make our customers more efficient.
We need someone that can write advanced SQL queries to transform data to into meaningful output for our users. You can also optimize existing queries and lead efforts to establish SQL best practices.
Proficient with writing SQL scripts to retrieve data and create/edit database objects. Designs, codes, tests, debug, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs.
Additional job duties:
Ensure optimal performance of the database environments.
Develops and maintains database security and control procedures.
Work with cross functional teams while assisting the sales staff by providing output lists to support enterprise client needs.
Perform ad-hoc SQL requests and loading of files into Db builder
Lead technical system support for monitoring the database performance and utilization.
Interfaces with users of data to resolve data conflicts and data usage concerns.
Interacts with Third party website developers
Requirements of the position include:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, database administration, or related field required. Associates degree with added relevant work experience may be considered.
3-5 years of professional experience in the database administration field
Hands on attitude, available for on-call troubleshooting
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization
Provide technical expertise in the use of database technology. Solid understanding of the principles, practices and techniques of database administration.
Advanced knowledge of SQL required
Intermediate C# and VB.Net programming knowledge
5+ years SQL Server - 3+ years C#
