Vice President of Sales

Cole Information is seeking a new VP of Sales.  – this role wil be responsible for providing strategic sales leadership for the company by working with the CEO, Board and other management to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies for the company.  In conjunction with the CEO the VP of Sales will deliver a vision for success.  

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct the organization's enterprise sales function and performance. Evaluate the structure and team to plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group.   
  • Lead and motivate existing enterprise sales representatives to advance employee engagement.  Develop a high performing sales team through training and hiring additional representatives
  • Oversee operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the CEO and Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges
  • Adhere to financial, legal, and business ethics guidelines in all contract, customer interaction, and business conduct
  • Additional responsibilities in alignment with role

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales, or Marketing 
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience/certification preferred
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing corporate vision
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with public speaking skills
  • Extensive knowledge of PC based Windows applications and system operations

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience
  • Proven experience leading a successful sales organization
  • Contract and negotiation experience
