    Description

    OHB is looking for a Therapist to work with youth and make difference in their lives as well as the community around them.

    OHB's Crisis Stabilization Program provides a safe, therapeutic, supportive environment for teens in crisis in our community. The Outpatient Therapist plays a key role in helping youth and families in the program stabilize and grow to become a more cohesive, supportive family unit. The Outpatient Therapist works closely with the Senior Director of Clinical Services and is responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of treatment for clients in the program. The Stabilization Therapist conducts weekly consultation meetings with the full Treatment Team to provide for a well-rounded, comprehensive approach to treatment. The position provides direct services onsite and in family homes, which includes conducting group, individual and family therapy sessions. The Therapist will also provide direct supervision to a team of skill builders and assist on the the strategic planning for the clients in the family support program.
    Salary: $46,000 to $62,000 based on experience
    Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week; must be willing to work some evenings and weekends based on the needs of the program.
    Primary Duties:
    • Provides individual, family and group counseling
    • Create, maintain and submit accurate records, documents and billing
    • Initial Treatment plans for each youth as well coordinate the execution of the plan with Crisis Team members
    • Works in tandem with team members, members of the family and community
    • Adhere to policies and procedures set forth by OHB
    Required Experience:
    • Must be 21 years of age
    • Master’s degree in Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field is required
    • Licensed as a PLMHP or LMHP in good standing is required; if licensed as a LIMHP must be in good standing and able to practice according to license. If provisionally licensed must be willing to fulfill licensing requirements within 3 years of hire.
    • Licensed as a PLADC or LADC in good standing is preferred. If provisionally licensed must be willing to fulfill licensing requirements to be fully licensed within 3 years of hire. If not licensed must be willing to complete all classes and requirements to become provisionally licensed within 1 year of hire.
    • Minimum of two years of experience working with youth and/or families
    • Minimum of two years of experience supervising people and/or programs
    • Ability to maintain confidential information as well as exercise discretion when working with confidential information
    • Ability to effectively interact with sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences present in the organization’s service population, both individually and in groups
    • Knowledge of diverse modalities of counseling and diagnostic principles
    • Experience providing trauma informed care and belief in strength-based approaches
    • Regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location is required
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and current auto insurance, and the ability to pass an extensive background check including drug screen
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills
    • Proficiency is M/S Office
    • Ability to operate office equipment, including P/C, copier, printer, scanner, and fax machine
    • Must be 21 years of age
