We are looking for a dedicated individual, who enjoys working autonomously, to join our team as a Professional Outreach Specialist.

This individual will be passionate about developing relationships, providing education and increasing referrals for organ and tissue donation through interactions with county attorneys, coroners, medical examiners, funeral home professionals, emergency medical professionals, and law enforcement. 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strong and effective relationships with the aforementioned professionals.
  • Provide education about organ and tissue donation.
  • Increase donation through development and implementation of donation referral systems.

Experience  

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with a variety of professionals.
  • Effectively communicates both in oral and written formats.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, honest and dedicated to the mission.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office.

     

    Education

  • A degree in Criminal Justice, Mortuary Science, Nursing, Life Science, or a combination of education and experience.

  • Medical knowledge, medical terminology, and knowledge of legal investigation or funeral home processes is required.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Maintain personal auto insurance.
  • Capability to travel by vehicle
