What you will contribute:

  • Collect and leverage personas from Product Management along with market intel from the sales team to formulate a strategic B2B marketing plan
  • Contribute to the go-to-market strategy through market research and competitive analysis
  • Formulate lead generation and awareness campaigns that will maximize impact when launching a new product
  • Develop messaging and write copy that will deeply resonate with target personas
  • Guide the creative team in generating impactful visuals that reinforce the message
  • Measure marketing effectiveness, present key learnings, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Active management of the MARCOMMs calendar ensuring consistent engagement with our followers
  • Recruit, vet, and manage external contractors when we need to expand our capabilities or throughput
  • Manage digital marketing strategy including website content, SEO keywords, social media posts, and email campaigns

A perfect candidate would bring:

  • 2+ years experience in B2B marketing
  • A strong storyteller personality with experience crafting clear and compelling messaging, and developing strong content (examples will be requested)
  • The ability to work effectively across functions, with external parties, and at all levels to build a plan, get alignment and execute it
  • Ability to analyze key metrics and propose or make course corrections when necessary

SUMMARY

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Director of Marketing to develop and execute marketing communication strategies to address market needs and foster sales growth.  This person will direct the design of marketing literature, marketing materials, promotional presentations, and videos/animations for Sales.  This person will conduct promotional campaigns, write copy, develop PR material, and work with the E-Commerce Manager on the design of digital and web presences.  This person will collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Global Marcom team on consistent corporate image and branding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – includes the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

Minimum high school diploma and 2+ years experience in B2B marketing required.  College degree preferred. 

LANGUAGE

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and responds to questions from internal and external customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with math concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of  fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical variables.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, primarily MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook.  Have a working knowledge of the Adobe CS Design Suite - specifically Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe PhotoShop.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

General knowledge of graphic design and graphic design tools

Project management

Interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate with all management levels

Exceptional writing and communication skills

Copywriting and editing experience

Social media marketing and branding experience - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other

Experience with working with multinational teams and global cultures

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Is usually open, collaborative with quiet to moderate noise levels.
