My client is seeking a someone with a strong administrative background for a new position within their Omaha claims office. Must be able to work without distractions and be willing to take direction on a consistent basis. The majority of the duties will be related the claims process so my client is seeking a detail-oriented individual who is able to work well under deadlines and be able to manage multiple duties at any given time. Will work off 3 computer screens with 3 proprietary claims systems. Must have strong communication skills as you will speak with policy holders and various internal contact. Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment on independent projects. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Compose form claims letters to be sent out
Enter new property claims into the system
Scan all incoming mail and attach to the appropriate claims in the system
Provide support to the claims adjusters for various duties
Maintain claims files for the adjusters.
Enter claims payments and confirm amounts/print out checks on daily basis.
Process weekly bulk payments for the adjusters.
Receive phone calls from policy holders regarding the claims status as well as calls from adjusters, agents and other employees from the corporate office.
