Job Description

Seeking an experienced Recruiter for an exciting new role with a growing company.  Will be tasked with developing recruiting strategies in support of organizational staffing needs and objectives.  Position will perform full cycle recruiting for all levels of exempt and non-exempt positions.  Experience sourcing candidates through various job boards and social media sites along with using various applicant tracking systems is required.  Must be able to work well independently and in a team setting while consistently recruiting for a high level of openings.  Position will be a highly visible role and interact with all levels of management to make hiring recommendations.  Must have excellent time-management skills along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Design and implement recruiting strategies
  • Keep current with sourcing strategies and industry trends
  • Use an applicant tracking system to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct cold call recruiting efforts to identify qualified candidates
  • Perform as primary contact for hiring managers
  • Confer with management to identify recruiting needs
  • Review and clarify job specifications, competencies and skills required
  • Attract applicants by developing and placing appropriate job postings using various sources including company intranet, career websites, schools, employment agencies, social media and any other suitable sources
  • Review resumes and applications to determine suitability of candidates
  • Work with initially qualified candidates to ensure completion of applications and pre-employment assessments
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, studying assessment results and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Conducting telephone and initial office interviews and making candidate recommendations to management
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews of qualified candidates with hiring managers
  • Conduct background checks and complete reference checks for final candidates
  • Work with hiring managers to extend offers of employment
  • Manage communications with candidates and managers throughout the process


2+ years of recruiting experience

Bachelor's Degree required

Hands on experience with various selection processes to include phone interviews and reference checks

Solid knowledge of employment regulations and best practices

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel) is essential

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Discretion in dealing with confidential information

Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel

Ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Ability to analyze, develop, establish and maintain efficient office work flow and administrative processes
