Our client is looking for two (2) Compliance Analyst's for a long term temporary project. Due to the tremendous growth in the department, these positions do have the possibility of turning into a full-time position.

Maintains legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements obtaining approvals.

Compliance Analyst Job Duties:

  • Reviews weekly audit reports to ensure all VL's have processed as expected 
  • Approves and processes requests for Inserts, Suppressions, Pulls, and Exceptions
  • Manages the exception process to make sure
    • All stakeholders have reviewed and approved the exception
    • There is clear start and end date to all exceptions
    • All VLs that get held during the exception period as expected
    • All catch-up VLs get processed immediately following the exception period end
  • Confirms completeness and quality of all processing steps before approving the VL files to be sent to the print vendor
  • Serves as VL administrator, granting accfess and providing user training
  • Periodically conducts independent audits of the VL system and process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Processes monthly queries across the entire account base to confirm that all triggering events have resulted in the production of a VL
  • Documents all VL process and exception decisions
  • Manages the timely resolution of all VL errors, assisting in error research and data input, as needed
  • Conducts VL research for issues as well as internal and external audit requirements
  • Compiles information for internal and regulatory reporting
  • Serves as business analyst on EPM projects that impact the VL process
  • Serves as advisor interface to VL requests, questions, and process improvements
  • Manages manual VL processes
  • Keeps other departments abreast of VL process changes
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies 
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Compliance Analyst Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years Financial Services Compliance or Operations Experience, thoroughness, attention to detail, client relationships, informing others, research skills, reporting, building relationships, coordination, audit, general math skills
