JOB SUMMARY - Our Maintenance & Technician Lead Supervisor is responsible for the total oversight and implementation of equipment, amusement ride, and arcade game maintenance and repair programs for the store on a shift-by-shift basis.  Works closely with store management to coordinate and assist in direction of the store technician repair and maintenance staff.  Responds promptly as directed to in-store, two-way radio calls for technical and repair assistance to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.  May also have responsibility focus on systematizing an area of the store as a special project.  Variable hour scheduling based on employee work availability and compatibility with store scheduling needs.th experience in repair and maintenance of video & arcade prize redemption games and/or thrill type amusement rides.  Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and facility maintenance a plus.

This is a variable hour position with us and may include flexible schedule options but generally scheduled 35-40 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinates and conducts repair and maintenance operations during scheduled shifts
  • Responsible for monitoring overall performance and safe operating condition of all amusement rides
  • Responsible for reporting of any concerns or unsafe conditions to store management immediately
  • Works as directed with Vice President of Operations and the General Manager to implement Company policies and initiatives for the maintenance tech and repair areas and staff
  • May participate in selection of maintenance and tech staff
  • Implements daily and periodic repair and maintenance schedules and completes required associated documentation of work
  • Conducts troubleshooting and repairs of circuit boards and testing of electronic components, soldering, and desoldering components on electronics boards
  • Oversees repair parts inventory and ordering on routine schedule as company policy requires
  • Implements and oversees follow through on all customer and employee focused safety programs as directed
  • Supervises personnel to ensure cleanliness of store in general and tech areas in particular
  • Oversees store profitability with an emphasis on repair and maintenance area cost centers
  • Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by employee’s supervisor

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for facility equipment maintenance and building upkeep as assigned
  • Must perform duties so as to ensure and uphold company standards for customer safety and guest satisfaction
  • Must handle employee matters with professionalism and according to company policy and state and federal laws.
  • Reports directly to the General Manager for all operational and safety-related matters

 QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Required to have operational skills to perform every employee task in the repair and maintenance areas; specifically repair and maintenance technicians
  • Must have sufficient training/experience to be able to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot electronics, circuit boards, and associated components common to computers and electronics
  • Must be able to maintain constant movement throughout a large facility and be able to view and evaluate operational issues rapidly in an environment often filled with people moving about randomly
  • Must be able to read and write in English and interact verbally with guests and co-workers in English
  • Must be able to solve continuous and varied operational issues in an even-tempered manner
  • Must be able to maintain composure and a positive attitude while resolving operational, personnel, and guest issues.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds multiple times throughout a work shift
  • Must be able to work in an arcade environment with wide variety of flashing lights, strobe lights, and electronic sounds
  • Hazards include, but are not limited to, slips, falls, burns, and cuts
