Staff Accountant + Remote Option

Our client, a billion-dollar corporation supporting financial professionals across the nation, is seeking an Accountant who has thrived in one or more high-volume, fast-paced busy seasons.

Our client is a well-established organization specializing in financial services investing. They have several offices in the US and offer a remote or in-office setting to their employees. Here are the primary responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Complete various accounting tasks with daily, monthly, and quarterly deadlines
• Maintain the General Ledger and create and adjust journal entries as needed
• Prepare and assign account reconciliations and control processes
• Support stakeholders and work toward process improvement within the department
• Prepare responses and otherwise assist with external audits
• All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, required
• Minimum of 3.2 GPA, required
• CPA certification, preferred
• One or more busy season(s) in a large, corporate firm, required
• Advanced Excel skills (PIVOTS, VLOOKUP’s, “IF” statements), required
• General Ledger experience, preferred
