Our client, a local medical staffing company, with decades of industry experience, has an immediate need for a Controller. In this position, you will be responsible for the development of various control systems and accounting operations with a company that offers work/life balance, flexibility, a fun-loving and family-oriented culture, and casual dress.   

What We Seek

They are seeking a highly detail-oriented individual to lead their team in various accounting activities. Someone with previous experience (3-5 years) in accounting is ideal. Here’s what they look for:

• Responsible for:
  • Reconciliation of GL, banks statements, revenue, and expenditure accounts
  • Preparation of year-end audit reports
  • Fiscal year-end
  • Fixed asset accounting
• Oversight of general accounting procedures and some billing functions
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Ability to work with multiple departments and agencies
• Effective and professional oral and written communication
• Oversee and lead a small team
• Management experience a plus
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• QuickBooks experience preferred
