Controller + Construction Industry + Lincoln, NE

We are seeking out a Controller for a construction client of ours. In this role, you’ll be a part of a growing entrepreneurial company where you will work directly with the Owner and have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the organization in a casual environment and enjoy excellent benefits.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly, and eventually weekly P&L / status reports / financial statements
• Mentor and train colleagues on accounting processes and efficiencies
• Manage Accounting Clerk and purchasing function
• Managing Accounts Receivable draws
• Inputting accurate estimated job costs and bank reconciliations
• Submitting insurance certificates
• Seeking out efficiencies every step of the way to minimize your personal workload
• Oversee payroll process
• HIGH attention to detail and process-oriented skills are a MUST
• Construction or cost accounting background is a plus
• Manage a staff of 2-5 personnel
