We are seeking out an Administrative Asst./Bookkeeper for a client of ours, located in southeast Nebraska. Our client has been in the construction business for more than 70 years. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact to the organization in a casual environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Producing Accounts Receivable draws
  • Entering invoices into QuickBooks
  • Processing weekly payroll
  • Human Resource tasks such as onboarding employees, employee paperwork, assisting with insurance and worker’s compensation processes
  • Inputting accurate estimated job costs and bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with paying monthly Accounts Payable invoices
  • Submitting insurance certificates
  • Preparing weekly and eventually daily P&L / status reports / financial statements
  • Additional duties as requested


  • Effective and professional oral and written communication
  • Seeking out efficiencies every step of the way to minimize your personal workload
  • HIGH attention to detail and process-oriented skills a MUST!
  • Strong relationship skills, friendly and professional demeanor
  • QuickBooks experience preferred, not required
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
