    Accounting Manager (Maternity Leave Coverage) + Excellent Culture   


    Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to assume all accounting responsibilities while the Accounting Manager is out on Maternity leave.  This is a great opportunity for someone to gain some exceptional experience and work in a high energy, “work hard, play hard” culture each day.  The client is willing to pay market appropriate rates for solid accounting experience.  Below is what they are looking for:


    General Job Responsibilities

    • Prepare, record, reconcile, and research accounting transactions in QuickBooks
    • Review transactions & perform general ledger reconciliations
    • Reconcile all bank accounts with bank statements
    • Accounts Payable and Payroll submission and oversight
    • Complete month end closing processes
    • Update and send out financials to managers once WIP is complete
    • Aid in annual financial audit preparation by compiling applicable information
    • Prepare sales tax returns report

    Desired Skills And Qualifications

    • Ability to work hands-on in a small office environment
    • Experience with QuickBooks is required 
    • Construction industry experience helpful, but not required
    • High attention to detail with a hands-on, do-it-all skillset
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
