Human Resources Manager + Exceptional Benefits

Job Description


Our client is seeking a Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for the overall function of Human Resources.   This person will manage the administration, coordination and evaluation of the HR operation.  The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Oversees all Human Resources activities, including managing the department’s budget
  • Manage the recruitment process for multiple locations, including advertising open positions, reviewing resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, conducting reference and background checks, and drafting offer letters
  • Ensure job descriptions for all positions are accurate and up-to-date
  • Maintain and lead modifications to the employee handbook
  • Develop and carry out enhancements to Human Resources policies, plans, procedures, and programs
  • Provide administration for all employee benefits and 401k activity
  • Maintain department records and reports, ensuring all pertinent documentation is properly maintained and current
  • Acts as a backup to Payroll
  • Travel to retail stores is required 2x yearly (locations across 4 states)


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, strongly desired
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Retail and/or Restaurant experience is highly preferred
  • SHRM or PHR a plus  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Knowledge of benefit and compensation programs
