Are you an experienced Human Resources & Payroll professional who is looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a family-owned company, is seeking a Human Resources & Payroll Assistant in the Omaha area. They are seeking a detail-oriented individual who has very strong interpersonal skills to assist their team with various Human Resources and Payroll activities.  Do the following activities sound like something you would enjoy doing?  If so, this might be the position for you!

  • Review resumes & applications
  • Conduct phone interviews and applicant testing
  • Assist new employees in Benefits enrollment (Direct Deposit, 401k, Health Insurance)
  • Backup for Human Resources manager
  • Process bi-weekly payroll, including garnishments, child support payments, etc.
  • Reconcile general ledger, as it relates to payroll & benefits
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products -  Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint


  • High School diploma, some college a plus
  • 2+ years Payroll & HR experience preferred
  • Kronos experience is a bonus
