Transfer Technician - 2nd Shift
3:00 pm - 2:00 am
Monday - Thursday + OT as needed
$500 HIRING BONUS!
Job Summary:
Transfer material from vessel to vessel ensuring product integrity and traceability. Clean and sanitize batching equipment. Ensure that all products are provided to the filling lines using the proper equipment in a safe, effective and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transfer product following the prescribed procedures under sanitary conditions.
- Maintain traceability of product through accurate paperwork and usage of AS400.
- Clean and sanitize batching equipment following prescribed procedures.
- Maintain accurate labeling of equipment used in compounding processes.
- Communicate effectively with others.
- Maintain a good attendance record.
- Perform work onsite.
- Monitor the anti-foam system
Additional Expectation: Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- High School or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate with team members.
- Ability to exercise judgment and set priorities.
- Manual dexterity is required.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift and climb.
- Visual acuity is needed for quality control.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Be able to take initiative on the job.
- Company certified in electric pallet jack and forklift.
- Ability to read, write and speak English competently.
Preferred Knowledge, Certifications, Skills, Abilities:
- AS400 experience.
- Forklift license.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with weights and measures.
- Advanced math skills.
- Troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of RF scanner.
Environmental Conditions:
- Manufacturing environment—some temperature extremes, dust, noise, and wet.
