Job Summary:  Direct sales and administrative functions relating to the Dealer/School Divisions to ensure consistent sales growth and profitability.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential job functions)

  • Coordinate functions of the Dealer/School Divisions with other departments.
  • Assist in development of new products and redevelopment of existing products.
  • Work with purchasing on inventory needs.
  • Sales training of reps; i.e. new items, process
  • Manage house accounts, i.e. pricing, negotiating contracts.
  • Work with scheduling to prioritize scheduling of kits.
  • Monitor and release back orders.
  • Test new products, monitor allocations on work orders.
  • Work with and customers on subs.
  • Assist reps in problem solving.
  • Attend various trade shows throughout the year.
  • Review products to discontinue.
  • Communicate effectively with others.
  • Maintain a good attendance record.
  • Perform work onsite.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Additional Expectation: Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Perform at an experienced and functional level therefore requiring limited supervision.
  • Engage in Professional Development Activities.
  • Cross-trained and proficient in duties for both Dealers and Schools
  • Subject Matter Expert in internal administrative support duties for both divisions.
  • First point of contact for Sales Coordinator questions.
  • Function with little supervision.

 

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: (Those essential to minimum performance)

  • Minimum of four years business-to-business experience in a customer service business development or marketing capacity required.
  • Must show proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with customers and functional groups.
  • Must show aptitude to effectively interpret and use multiple information sources to develop customer-specific tactical plans and options.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and presentation software; problem solver; well-developed organizational, communication and time management skills.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets and presentation software.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English competently.
  • Licensed cosmetologist

 

Preferred Knowledge, Certifications, Skills, Abilities: (Those helpful to effective performance)

  • Experience in the beauty industry or cosmetology preferred.

           Detailed knowledge of Marianna’s product line, as well as competition’s

           Licensed cosmetologist

  • Primarily office condition—climate controlled.
