Thermal Heating, Air and Plumbing has an immediate opening for an experienced Customer Service Representative. This position is responsible for providing professional, courteous, efficient and accurate customer service to inbound callers. Qualified candidates will be self-starters, with excellent data entry and multitasking skills, detail oriented and strong ethical values.  In return, Thermal offers its employees a comprehensive benefits package, a positive work environment and growth opportunities. 

The hours for this position are Monday – Friday from 10am –7pm. This position also includes a weekend on-call rotation of approximately one weekend every 6 weeks.

Essential Duties:

  • Analyzing and resolving customer questions
  • Scheduling of comprehensive maintenance service calls
  • Scheduling of emergency service calls
  • Accurate entry of customer requests, communications and billing information
  • Ability to make suggestion to customers on products and services
  • Calling current customers to schedule seasonal maintenance checks
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all departments in the company
  • Consistently maintain all established customer service expectations and goals for the department

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Must be able to multitask
  • Ability to learn company specific software
  • 1-2-year inbound customer service experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to display empathy and constant professionalism
  • Basic computer use knowledge (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook email)
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude
