Program Director

This position manages All Communities Outreach Services community campaigns and function as a liaison in resourcing programs to aid residents within the greater Sarpy and Douglas County areas. Oversees and manages a non-profit budget, donors, staff, and partnering organizations to meet organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee hardship assistance programs provided in Douglas, Sarpy, and Cass counties.
• Maintain ACOS community outreach programs, events, in-kind donations, distributions, volunteers, and collaborative community giving programs.
• Plan and facilitate family engagement activities.
• Participate in collaborative meetings with Lift Up Sarpy and Community Response Programs.
• Ability to train and manage staff on all aspects of community programs and delegate work assignments.
• Seek, develop, and maintain relationships with community organizations, pantries, non-profit donors, suppliers, and service organizations.
• Serve as a member of various committees as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Interview and review clients and determine family expenses and circumstances
• Identify unmet needs (housing, food, transportation etc.) to determine outcomes and guidance on household budgets.
• Connect eligible families with utility assistance programs.
• Update case data on Charity Tracker database for collective data and track outreach goals.
• Receive donations from community partners and individual donors.
• Provide care assistance packages for seniors and as needed situations.
• Perform other duties as directed and assigned.

Education:

• College Degree
• 2-3 years of relevant experience working with community programs and or non-profit services
• MS Office skills
