  • Compensation: Base Salary Of $60,000.00 Annually + Uncapped Commissions with Anticipated First Year’s Salary up to $100,000.00+ Annually

Job Description:
As a sales representative at Gatsby Glass, you provide a customer-centric focus on selling glass, metal framework, and hardware products and installation services to residential and commercial owners. As a representative, you will help build the client list, sales revenue, and back the company on standards, quality, and professionalism. A successful sales representative will have creative lead-generating techniques and the energy/drive to exceed sales goals. You will use strong communication, high energy, and sales skills to present innovative solutions to prospective customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both residential and commercial clients, including homeowners, builders, contractors, and architects.
  • Conduct in-home consultations with residential customers to assess needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the commercial market.
  • Prepare and present accurate and competitive quotes for both residential and commercial projects.
  • Close sales and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire project lifecycle for both residential and commercial clients.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitive offerings.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in local home shows and community events to generate leads and attend industry events and networking functions to expand professional connections.
  • Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Relationship building, networking, cold calling, canvassing, and meeting with prospective clients.
  • Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
  • Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) year of experience in self lead generated sales required
  • English required; Spanish preferred

Additional Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the construction, home improvement, or related industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Strong work ethic with a results-oriented approach.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must possess excellent measuring skills for accurate project assessments.
  • A strong understanding of interior design principles is a significant plus.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM.
  • Occasional Home Show Events.
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time while occasionally out in the field, helping with installations, following up on leads in person, and engaging with business owners.
