    • $500/week for first 8 weeks + 4% commission

Position: Outside Sales Representative
Our Mission at Mighty Dog Roofing of Greater Chattanooga is to be the exterior expert and trusted home advisor for our clients with our roofing, gutter, siding, and window solutions for both residential and commercial applications. The Outside Sales Representative’s Mission is to work in the field managing company leads, referrals, prospecting, performing property inspections, signing contracts, meeting insurance adjusters, writing and providing estimates, and formally contracting projects to generate revenue for the company.

The Outside Sales Representative role is broken into 3 key phases:
Phase 1 - Prospecting, performing property inspections, contingency and/or service agreements, and assisting property owners in the insurance claim process after storms and or catastrophic events
Phase 2 - Meeting insurance adjusters, scoping the project, create an estimate that outlines the damages with the insurance company, and formally contracting the project with property owners
Phase 3 - Estimating and supplementing, learning a variety of advanced roofing systems, and how to sell and estimate other relevant exterior and interior trades including gutters, siding, windows, as well as other interior related trades/if applicable.  Assisting the company in the collection of any progress payments, and/or final checks from the property owner.

Outside Sales Representative - Other Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate information, changes, feedback on customers, leads and other relevant information to the company, the company CRM, Sales Managers, Coordinators, Field Trainers, and the Owners.
  • Participate in company safety meetings, sales meetings, or training meetings to advance any necessary learning/training to improve as a sales associate.
  • Complete and learn the Mighty Dog Roofing University Virtual Training Platform. This training is key to success as an industry sales associate.
  • Achieve a minimum of $100,000 in monthly contracted sales, that is actual jobs turned into build (during the peak selling months of March to November).
  • Minimum monthly threshold would equate to approximately $1M in revenue in a calendar year. This would be our goal, target and quest of each industry sales associate.

Outside Sales Representative - Job Requirements:
  • GED/High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Outside Sales Experience w/ Lead Generation
  • CRM (or equivalent) Experience
  • Roofing/Gutters/Windows/Siding/Construction Experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to carry and climb a ladder to conduct on roof assessment
Outside Sales Representative - Work Environment: 
Mighty Dog Roofing sales representatives will be responsible for a variety of both on-site projects and office-related tasks.  The Sales Representative will be required to climb a ladder and conduct assessments and measurements on residential and commercial roofs. 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  The associate will be able to stand, sit at an office space, see, hear, and understand speech, communicate, lift computer equipment, lift a ladder, lift supplies and materials, use office equipment and computers. 
 
Outside Sales Representative : Position Type & Expected hours worked: 

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Sales.  Some on-site projects are likely to require early mornings and late afternoons from time-to-time. Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance is required.
