Essential Functions:

• Record day to day accounts payable / receivable transactions
• Perform bank account reconciliations
• Reconcile revenue and expense accounts monthly
• Prepare monthly or quarterly business activity statements
• Understand basic company business activities to assist in expense and revenue classifications

Work Environment:

This job operates in an office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (flexible start/end times) unless otherwise specified.  Regular, punctual and consistent attendance is required.

Requirements: 

• Ability to organize and prioritize daily duties
• Strong time management skills
• Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for 75% of the time
• Operate/use various pieces of office equipment (computer, printer, copier, fax)
• Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and NetSuite
• Good organizational skills

Preferred Experience:

• Accounting or Finance degree
