Cx Billing Representative

Salary Range: $18.00 To 33.00 Hourly

Statement of Position

The Billing Representative reports directly to Supervisor – Billing.

The Billing Representative is expected to:

  • Handle high profile and special billing arrangements to ensure cases are processed smoothly
  • Primary point of contact for assigned relationships
  • Reconcile monthly list bills, process payments 
  • Process Schedule A/5500 Requests
  • Provide customer service through written and verbal correspondence to internal/external stakeholders; recognize what needs to be done to meet complex stakeholder needs and demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to meet those requirements.
  • Process various mainframe transactions to change or correct Premium records
  • Receive and process premium for Group cases
  • Handle complex combined payments for Worksite and Group products for assigned cases
  • Create various queries to assist and respond to group clients and brokers
  • Must comply with privacy guidelines; will protect the privacy of customer information
  • Performs other duties and/or projects as needed or required

                                           

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS           

Education: High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of equivalent business experience required. Knowledge Requirements:

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize a high volume of multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to context, substance and detail while meeting goals and strict deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively build and extend relationships.
  • Shows initiative with a “can do attitude” and the ability to implement changes that will improve workflow.
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office.
  • Insurance knowledge is a plus.

 

Hybrid Work Model

At our Omaha location, employees will be working either Mondays & Tuesdays on site or Wednesdays & Thursdays on site due to limited space at this time.

At our Canton location, employees will be on site Monday - Thursday starting 5/1/23.
