Inside Sales Lead - Omaha NE

 

We’re currently seeking an Inside Sales Lead who is a strong communicator, servant-leader, and creative problem solver. The Inside Sales Lead is responsible for maintaining their own book of business by moving customers through the buying cycle and overseeing the day-to-day sales activities and results of the 2-person sales team.  The Inside Sales Lead needs to be self-motivated, organized, and committed to modeling best practices in the sales cycle and will allocate time between coaching and selling with 30 percent given to coaching and 70 percent making sales calls. While coaching, the Sales Lead will instruct team members on proven selling techniques.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned individual and team sales targets via phone sales focused on acquisition and retention of customer base

  • Coach team members on the best ways to carry out their duties by sharing expert knowledge in order to reach sales objectives and boost their selling skills

  • Listen to sales calls and offer feedback and recommendations for improvement and creating a sense of urgency

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, ensuring they are educated on the value and benefits of our products

  • Leverage the sales funnel to maximize opportunities and drive results through the sales process

  • Enter customer orders following established procedures and ensure complete documentation of customer communications

  • Create sales follow-up calls for the team to help understand user satisfaction with the product and to identify additional sales opportunities

 

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Associates degree, or 2 years related experience or training (or some combination thereof)

  • 3-5 years experience in an inside sales role

  • 1- 2 years proven experience developing and leading a sales team

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of the sales process including identifying leads, needs assessment, product recommendation, overcoming objections, closing the sales

  • Communicate clearly and tactfully with coworkers and customers

  • Knowledge of motivation theories in coaching and recommending new sales tactics to team members

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized while managing a book of business and development of the sales team

  • Effectively collaborate and work in a team-based environment

  • Proficient time management skills with a strong work ethic and earnest willingness to learn

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and handle a change like a boss
