Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

 

Job Summary:
Hynson Insurance are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our management team, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Handle administrative requests and email queries from senior managers. Organizing and scheduling appointments with administration. Planning meetings and taking detailed minutes

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Assist with office administrative duties as necessary
  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Provide historical reference by utilizing filing and retrieval systems
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Invoicing
  • Verbal Communication
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary
  • Microsoft Office Skills

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to be an effective, proactive, self-sufficient employee. Very self motivated.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • General Math Skills
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Microsoft Office software preferred
  • Must work well with others, be a team player.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
