We are a small, well-established IT services provider in Southwestern Iowa with a casual culture and we are looking to add an experienced Sales Executive to our team. This is a new created position due to growth and our ideal candidate is a hunter, able to drive profitability, and work in a fast-paced environment. You will receive formal sales training on our proven methodologies and benefit from one-on-one mentorship.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a growing business by identifying prospects, initiating contact, and maintaining relationships with clients.

Salary up to $45K plus highly competitive commissions and benefits.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Responsible for cold-calling and creating new prospects, as well as following up with existing leads
  • Initiates sales process by building relationships, qualifying potential customers, and scheduling appointments.
  • Makes initial presentations; explains product and service enhancements; introduces new products and services
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations based on the needs of potential customers; ability to actively listen to prospects while qualifying their needs. 
  • Develops sales by making initial presentation; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; introducing new products and services.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance while making recommendations and creating upsell opportunities.
  • Closes sales by overcoming objections; prepares contracts for service terms.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and meeting quotas.
  • Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled, monitoring competitive products, analyzing and relaying customer reactions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proven sales experience
  • Experience with building a book of business
  • Presentation & Negotiation skills
  • Ability to foster client relationships
  • Willingness to and experience with cold calling
  • Thrill and drive for the hunt and desire to close a sale
  • Motivation to meet sales goals
  • Initiative to seek new leads
  • Willingness to learn product and services offered
  • Must live near Shenandoah Iowa (Red Oak, Essex etc)
