Our partner is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in a modern, 50,000-square-foot setting. The organization is staffed by a dedicated healing team well-versed in the latest and best medical procedures.  This general hospital provides general surgery, 24-hour emergency care, intensive care nursing, internal medicine, obstetrics, pathology, pediatric dentistry, podiatry, primary care and radiology and they are looking for a Manager of OB Services to join their team of compassionate caregivers.

Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officers, this working department manager supervises and provides professional and technical guidance to nursing staff in the OB Department. This nursing Manager performs highly complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge, its application to a variety of situations, as well as exercising independent judgment. Participation in all management functions of the nursing department (planning, organizing, leading, teaching and mentoring), is a daily expectation of this role. Additionally, this manager will also be staffing on a regular basis.

  • 15 -20 Deliveries/Month
  • 3 LDRP Rooms - 2 double ante partum and a level 1 nursery.
  • Modern equipment with Central Monitoring.

Required Qualifications:

  • BSN with current licensure in the State of New Mexico or hold a nursing license in a qualified compact licensure state.
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
  • Two to three years management experience (preferred)
