Description

Omaha National is seeking motivated individuals interested in pursuing an administrative role in workers compensation underwriting. The ideal candidate is detail oriented; enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment; and consistently meets internal and regulatory deadlines. No experience necessary, our in-house training will provide the tools necessary for the right candidate to succeed in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish requests for insurance coverage in our system and collect additional information as needed
Document submission and policy files with pertinent information in a well written, clear, and easily understood manner
Prepare and submit mandatory workers compensation policy reports to regulatory agencies in an accurate and timely manner
Foster positive working relationships with employees in other departments, including our Sales, Client Services, Special Investigations, and Payroll teams
Establish increased knowledge and efficacy to assume more responsibility and decision-making authority over time

REQUIREMENTS:

Aptitude to comprehend and apply underwriting principles
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a broad audience of varying backgrounds
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, with aptitude to learn other software programs
