Job Description

Omaha National is seeking individuals interested in pursuing an administrative role in workers compensation underwriting.  The ideal candidate is detail oriented; enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment; and consistantly meets internal and regulatory deadlines.  No experience necessary, our in-house training will provide the tools necessary for the right candidate to succeed in this role.


  • Establish requests for insurance coverage in our system and collect additional information as needed.
  • Document submission and policy files with pertinent information in a well written, clear, and easily understood manner.
  • Prepare and submit mandatory workers compensation policy reports to regulatory agencies in an accurate and timely manner
  • Foster positive working relationships with employees in other departments, including our Sales, Client Services, Special Investigations, and Payroll teams.
  • Establish increased knowledge and efficiency to assume more responsibility and decision-making authority over time.


  • Aptitude to comprehend and apply underwritting principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a broad audience of varying backgrounds.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, with aptitude to learn other software programs.
