Marketing Specialist, Lead Nurturing

Covisum, a financial tech company based in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a talented marketing mind to focus on lead nurturing and converting sales leads into happy customers. You will be responsible for understanding what activities increase customer generation and using communication tactics such as email, phone calls, chat and social media to add value through content, resources, and other calls-to-action. The selected candidate will undergo training in our software in order to feel confident in helping customers. Your goal is to turn interested, qualified leads into successful customers.

Covisum is a subsidiary of Senior Market Sales, Inc., a leading insurance marketing organization focused on Medicare solutions, long-term care insurance, life insurance and annuities, recognized as a leader within the insurance and financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate our contact database about our products and their benefits.
  • Analyze and interpret what behaviors and patterns make contacts more likely to take a free trial, purchase, be successful and be retained by Covisum.
  • Create the strategy for nurturing our leads through a mix of helpful content (email, phone calls, blog, video, knowledge base) and other calls-to-action.
  • Create and implement new projects and creative ideas that help improve customer conversion rates.
  • Craft customer surveys to gather data and insights.
  • Inform company teams about our customer behaviors and buying preferences and patterns.
  • Attend industry events and interact with customers and prospects to further understand the problems and challenges we can solve for them.
  • Provide input on and execute the sales and marketing strategy with a focus on product adoption and overall success of our customers.
  • Measure the success of these campaigns and optimize your approach based on the resulting data.
  • Advocate internally that all teams solve for the customer -- you are their biggest fan within the company and understand that their success and happiness mean our success and happiness!

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field (financial services, marketing, web-based business, business-to-business customer service or call center) experience required.
  • Expert in HubSpot marketing automation, smart list optimization, workflow and sequence nurturing, and conversations a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written proficiencies of the English language is required and bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred. 
  • One to three years of experience with a variety of marketing tactics, not just email.
  • Effective communication skills, empathy, quick thinking, and strong persuasion skills.
  • Passion for offering customers words of wisdom, tools, and industry knowledge to help them be successful.
