Field Technician

Job Description

Primary Role: The Field Service Tech will be responsible for providing on-site support for our clients.  This will include identifying issues, troubleshooting, resolution implementation, and escalation to our network or server team.  This position will be the face for the company, so it is imperative the candidate demonstrates excellent customer service and professionalism. 


Key Responsibilities:

·         Work with customers on site to provide comprehensive technical support.

·         Identify potential issues while on site and resolve or escalate to appropriate resources

·         Work with Network and Server team to resolve issue affecting multiple users.

·         Install any of the following as part of helpdesk or project services:

o   Networking Equipment

o   Workstations

o   Workstation Peripherals

o   Software

o   Server Hardware

o   Printers, and other commercial IT solutions

·         Communicate with Service Desk Manager and customers, during troubleshooting and escalation

·         Maintain a high standard of documentation for client resources

·         Work with clients to resolve any outstanding incidents arising from project or helpdesk changes

·         Conduct training with end users as needed, for general IT services

Basic Qualifications:

·         Associates, or equivalent field experience

·         1-3 years of Technical Support Experience


Preferred Qualification:

Microsoft or Network Certifications a Plus

Previous MSP Experience

Autotask & RMM Experience

Fortigate Experience
